WHW Hosts Croton Community Presentation

Welcome Home Westchester engaged in a community presentation on Westchester County’s housing shortage and smart growth options for Croton-on-Hudson on Tuesday evening at Croton Free Library.

Croton Housing Network’s Nance Shatzkin introduced WHW Partner Timothy Foley of Building and Realty Institute of Westchester and the Mid-Hudson Region (BRI), Marnie Henricksson of Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County and Andrew Smith of Westchester Residential Opportunities, Inc., who spoke about current housing availability and affordability issues, while engaging with members of the community about finding practical solutions.

Thank you to our wonderful speakers and to residents who joined us for an important discussion on the future of housing in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson and Westchester County!
